[thelist] chat problem

Hi there.. is there a way to create a chat program (non-java) for people who
either do
not have java capable browsers or have apple computers? On a forum I run it
has chat
but the chat is Java enabled and one person cannot access it because she has
an apple
computer and it is java enabled. since it is a yahoo groups deal I need to
figure out
a way to create a chat program to take care of this problem.
