I tried as much as I could before posting...NN 4.7 doesnt like the
background image, N6 will display it fine.
NN 4.7 will center a table of mine with a simple <DIV ALIGN=CENTER> tag, N6
wont.

IE 5.5 on the other hand, displays everything exactly as I code it...even
the WebTV browser displays it properly. (http://developer.webtv.net)

Just frustrated with the little inconsistencies...

I've never had a problem with <body background="image.gif"> in Netscape
(CSS is another story...).

Netscape is picky about other things, like closing tags, so you might
validate to see if something else is affecting the display of your image.
