Peter
Is this just reputation management you're after, or is it
a real, PGP-like security web of trust?
If the former, take a look at /. metamoderation:
http://slashdot.org/moderation.shtml
http://slashdot.org/metamod.pl (moderating the moderators)
Cheers
Martin

Subject: [thelist] trust metrics for online communities
looking in how to build online communities so not too much crap can get in.
Good articles I've found:
http://www.advogato.org/trust-metric.html
and epinions web of trust
http://epinions.com/user-1-topic-1-D
I'm especially interested in articles explaining how to implement a
scalable solution (my god! I'm buzzwording). I'm not sure if I want a "web
of trust" style, where some people can be trusted by some, and distrusted
by others, or a plain rating, where people get x stars.
