[thelist] aninmated GIFs behavior on different platforms

Sorry folks, I gotta try this again:

Issue: Animated GIFs created in Imageready 2 on Mac work correctly in MSIE
5.5 on Win 2000, but only partially on Netscape 6 (windows) and MSIE 5
(Mac)and likely others. 

I have known that there are differences, but have not
really seen this problem until now.

Can someone point me to a good resource for this. Have people seen this
behavioral difference? Compare the graphic below in a few browsers.
