What is 'weft'? I noticed the other day that a wingdings font I was
referencing for a certain symbol (pisces sign, letter 'i') wasn't
recognized by NS 6.01. I thought I was being cool, saving bandwidth by
using the font rather than an actual graphic image. But I guess not. :) Is
it do to this weft business?

I'm confused on how systems handle fonts. On some font sites I've seen "for
mac" "for win".. If you embed fonts in your page, do you have to embed
different ones for different platforms? That's a nuisance.
