Not sure it that's strictly true - this rang a bell on a piece I heard on
radio 5 the other week about people buying online not being aware of their
rights, so I checked it out...

Your UK online buying rights are summarised here....

....which states that you have a 7 day cooling off period to withdraw your
purchase, I guess even if the goods aren't defective.
