Bob just reminded me of something I meant to mention a while back,
'cos of his link to a site which uses GeekLog

<tip>
Geeklog is a Slashalike engine written in PHP
which runs just fine on IIS. Threaded discussions,
membership, a calendar, categorisation,
submission queues, yada yada yada, it's all there.

It's bloody useful for those folks who want a
site from you as a favour (you know it happens),
since it takes about 10 minutes to get running.

Requires PHP4 and MySQL.
