I use grep for quick and dirty log questions. Filter the log for the URL you
want then count.

Subject: [thelist] Quick way to search server log?

Does anyone know of a utility that will let me quickly scan a day's server
log for a particular URL? Wanting to know how many times a particular page
was requested from the server over a few days' time... it doesn't show up as
one of the "most requested" in the monthly reports. Thanks!
Janet
