Rarg!! Design mode is EVIL!! I almost never use Homesite anymore because
Dreamweaver 4 UltraDev is so spiffy, but I was a HomeSite user from way back
and the first thing I always did on a new system was turn OFF design mode.
It's terrible and yucky and you're right, it does crazy stupid things to
your code without asking.

There are settings on HomeSite and Dreamweaver that I always set, that are
basically the "leave my freaking code alone" settings. Both programs are
cool and save me a lot of time (I'd never go back to my Notepad coding
days), but you have to set limits. =)
