Norman,

NB> Can you provide some more insight on PDFWriter?

I'll try! Though my knowledge only goes as far as 'I know it works
therefore I use it' iykwim! ;o)

The PDFWriter - I think you have to purchase it, I guess you can
download it from Adobe. I got mine with the Adobe Design suite.

It works by adding the PDFWriter option to the print folder (in all
applications) then you just click print and choose the PDFWriter and then
it offers you the option for naming etc. And there you have your
*.pdf.

The formatting is done in woteva app your in, eg; word. Though it can take a
couple of go's to get it right. I found this when I created a form
using Excel and printed that to PDFWriter.

I just entered 'Adobe Acrobat PDFWriter price download' into google
and the first page on the list was: http://www.atpm.com/5.07/acrobat.shtml

which may be of interest to you (i think the person writing
the article is using a mac) and I'm using a pc

NB> not something for converting Word docs to PDFs.

It prints to PDF - and I just tested it and it worked lovely. I can't
offer any more explanation than that (sorry)
