Lack of stylesheets doesn't prevent you accessing the content/services.
The worst you'll get is lack of surface prettiness.

>(or stylesheets ENABLED on a Mac).

bullshit. Only causes problems when developers don't think beyond
Win/IE

Erik - you've just debarred yourself from any work for a commercial
client. The job of a developer is to help the client achieve their
business objectives. Which usually involves supporting as many
paying customers as possible (except for braindead dotcoms like
http://www.work24.co.uk and look what happened to them).

The key term is RoI - Return on Investment. If I own a business,
I invest money in your work to return a greater quantity of money
over the long term than I'd earn with it sitting in the bank. Your
work *has* to do that, or you don't get hired.

You heard the phrase "The customer is always right"? So why
do you want to force my (fictitious) customers into anything?
I want to make them comfortable. To trust me. Otherwise they're
not buying.

Cheers
Martin
