[thelist] Apache and method="post" (was - XHTML - method="post" allowed for forms?)

Okay, now that it has been decided that method="post" is allowed in XHTML,
is this something that needs to be turned on at the server level?

I am running apache 1.3.6 and am getting the following error:

Method Not Allowed

The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /foo.htm

Anyone got any idea of what needs to be done to get past this little error?

Yes, method="post" is allowed in XHTML 1.0.  I use it all the time.

Sounds more like a server configuration problem.  Not sure what, though.
