[thelist] HTML in mails (was : I should be flogged)

I think an important distinction to make is between solicited and 
unsolicited html email -

For certain campaigns we'll do some pretty spiffy html email , but ALWAYS 
for folks who've specifically requested them. I HATE html email I haven't 
subscribed to.
