So do those of us in the Southern Hemisphere roll it to December 21 
or do we just freeze on the shortest day of the year?

abbreviated language. 4/7/2001 might be the seventh of April to you, 
but to me it might be the fourth of July. And 2001/7/4 can be even 
more confusing.
