correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that sometimes 1K = 1000
meg...usually when dealing with hard drives. i seem to remember hearing
the HD manufacturers use the 1K = 1000 meg conversion cause it makes the
HD seem bigger than using 1K = 1024 megs.

If you look at the fine print in alot of computer ads these days, some of
them say "1 GB = 1 billion bytes," which is, of course, not 100%
accurate...
