hey hey hey !

i'm not backing SmartTags... i think they're atrocious, but i do think 
there is value to exploring the issue from different sides...

and i don't agree that it's monopolistic (it's one feature we're talking 
about here, and that's *all* we should talk about) and i don't agree 
it's an IP issue (whenever a developer claims his/her content is 
being stolen/modified/infringed/uglified, my wariness filter kicks in)...

i'm just surprised more people don't talk about pornolizer or even 
some channel features from NN...

one of these days i should write up a piece about software that 
completely ruins my site, presenting it differently, refusing to 
display elements, inserting new stuff, etc... then at the end 
disclose that it's a text-to-speech browser... not to be analagous 
with this discussion, but still...
