[thelist] Size doesn't matter?

FWIW there are a number(20-30) of people subscribed to thelist from what 
most of us would consider 'big corps' .. Why some of them have never 
choosen to post is beyond me.. But then I've probably only noticed that 
most of our subscribers from 'big corps' dont post only because they are 
from big corps, if you know what i'm saying.. There are *hundreds* of 
people that never post to thelist, only lurk. thats cool, i just think i 
personally notice it more when those bigcorp people sign up and never 
post, rather than some random hotmail.com address..

<tip type="mysql utils">
MySql has a nifty little utility that will repair and optimze database 
files for you. The mysqlcheck program will repair and optimize datafiles 
for you automatically, and it works pretty well if you ever find 
yourself with some corrupted data. Run it through a cron job once a week 
to optimize any larger databases you may have as well..
