On closer examination the java applet doesn't actually do anything, except show adverts. In which case I'd loose it for sure, as all visitors without the javaVM pluggin have to download this big file. The applet, or something else are slowing the page rendering down horribly. + a javascript error under IE5.5/win Richard.
