Registered through Network Solutions using their online form and currently
have that domain "parked" on their server for the time being. Did not
provide own DNS server at the time of sign up.

What is going on right now is that the client has bought a web server so
that they can host the web site "In House". They recently purchased a
Microsoft NT Server with IIS. The network administrator has given me the IP
Address for the Primary and the Secondary servers. From there I attempted
to change the DNS information at Network Solutions (online forms in the
Manage Account area). But then I get the error stated earlier about only
being able to use Alphanumeric number etc...So I am assuming that the IP
Addresses are not going to work? I will have to registered the client's web
server with Network Solutions in order for it to work?? I am clueless as
this is the first time I have ever had to do this.

I appreciate all input and thoughts.

Michael

How did you registered the domain? Is NetSol doing the DNS hosting? Is
the domain 'parked?' Did you provide your own DNS Servers?

Not sure you are doing this in the right place. Depending on the above
questions, you might be in the wrong spot.

Registering a host machine with them is registering a DNS server.

I've got a strong feeling of where you're at, more details, please =)
