I'm using .mreply on a UNIX host to do some mail forwarding and
autoresponding, anyone familiar with that?

I have an autoresponder set up, but I have a couple questions:
 here's the relevant code:

.if to jasondiffin
   .forwardall !jasondiffin at hotmail.com
   .message Forwarded
   .goto autoresponder6
   .end
.endif

1) the autoresponder doesn't work if I take out the two lines about
forwarding...why not?

2) It seems like no matter what address I specify for the .forwardall
address, it still goes to the root email address for the account. I don't
want it to, how can I make it just go to the specified address?
