I haven's used 'Brinkster' ... but I have used a number of "free" accounts.

With the exception of evolt [   ;-)    ]  I've ultimately been dissatisfied
with all of them.  To get serious I think you need to bite the bullet and
pay the cash to get your own domain and get it hosted.

Even then, there are no guarantees that you will get to play with everything
you want to play with.  My "paid" CF host has disabled all the Java controls
- so I don't get to play with sliders.  My "paid" ASP host has suddenly
disabled FSO as a "security risk" - I had pages that were nicely debugged
and working that are currently broken while I "discuss" the issue with them.

Just a 'heads up' to be prepared for some level of frustration no matter
where you go.

I just checked on Brinkster and found out that you can only send emails
from ASP pages if you have the premium account with a domain...
