Susan,
I installed the cf include extension for DreamWeaver. Once I installed that
my includes started showing up.
Good Luck
Chuck

Nick and Nathan,
Thanks for passing this along!
I am not having trouble having #includes show up within Dreamweaver, rather
<cfinclude> files. I don't expect to be able to edit them within DW, but I
was looking for a way to have them show up in the Edit mode hoping that the
Stylesheet information would be available when editing new content for a
new document for the site. (Does that make sense?)
Anyway, back to the drawing board...

<tip type="Template driven sites and avoiding rework">
If you build a site using Cold Fusion includes for your headers/footers
which include Style sheet information, and your client wants to be able to
edit the site in Dreamweaver when you are done, keep in mind that the
contents of your header will not show up in Dreamweaver, therefore they
will not be able to apply styles using the CSS Palette window. They will
instead need to either type the information in by hand, or you will need to
do something different with your header files.
</tip>
:: Once you have apache or some other web server running, and
>:: dreamweaver setup to acknowledge it, dreamweaver recognizes the includes
>:: and they show up while you're working. As a note, they show up
>:: but are editable only by opening up the include file itself.
