[thelist] Image Robot or other image batch processing tool

I once wrote a bunch of Perl to take some gigantic tiff files, resize them
into webified JPGS, and create thumbnails, all using ImageMagick.  It was
pretty cool.  And that was awhile ago, so I'd only hope that the tool has
improved since then.
