as there can be multiple rates for each booking, each with its own
<rate>...</rate> section, this could get rather messy.  and how would you
make sure that the correct <rate> went into the corresponding <booking>??

i was thinking of trying to insert the number of adults into the relative
rates section.

my xml knowledge ain't that great, but i can hack the thing apart with
asp if necessary...
