No.

Sorry to be so obvious but the "copy" in "copyright" describes making
a copy of something.  If you then change the copy, the originator
doesn't lose copyright.

That the someone make a copy in the first place demonstrates that
the thing being copied has some value (if only in terms of effort
of creating the thing themselves from scratch).
