In keeping with the M$ theory that they make perfect software with no
backward compatability problems, there will never be a need to use an
"out-of-date" software package.

As such, there is no simple method of keeping an old version of IE at
the same time as upgrading.

The best method I can suggest is the use of VMWare. It allows for your
to configure as many "virtual PCs" as you need. It is great for testing
on various Windows / IE setups without having a room of PCs.
