[thelist] The case of a wayward app . . .

Folk,

Once upon a time, about three machines ago, there was this little app that could provide real-time web connection data, kinda like Microsoft's Net Watcher, but much more powerful. It could tell what systems were connected, and show the activity for each of those systems, e.g., page requests, upload, download, etc., while it was happening. It could even forcibly disconnect a selected system.

I've lost that little app, and I surely would like to get it back <whimper />. Cannot, for the life of me, remember the name (tried searching on HTTP/Web/TCP/IP scanner/watcher/monitor combinations on Google, Teoma, and on several software sites), or even how I got it. Does anyone know of such? Free or $$$ doesn't matter, although free would be nice <grin! />. A name or a URL would be most appreciated.

Make a good day . . .
