Laura,

I went through this process with a large car rental company, and the options
for CA are somewhat limited but growing continually.  You might check out
http://www.esri.com.  They may have their Canadian postal code database up by
now.  

There was another firm in the N.E. (US) that had just bought a Canadian
company's database and was due to hit the market late last year.  Sorry I can't
remember any more detail, I'm not on that account any longer. 

You might also try http://spatialnews.geocomm.com/ for some references to other
vendors.
