Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

Paul

Do you mean intranets?

If so, Do your customers have employment policies which discriminate
against people with visual impairments? In some industries this may
be acceptable (good vision is sensible for airline pilots), but elsewhere,
you may find it actually against employment law.

Do you mean extranets/B2B sites?

If so, do your customers' audiences have employment policies which
discriminate against blind/partially sighted people?

Accessibility is a more widespread requirement than you'd think...

Cheers
Martin

I completely and utterly disagree - I have a friend whose daughter has
very very poor eyesight - they have a 21" screen set to 640 x 480 -
How are you going to accommodate her?

She is still a potential customer....??? - and she is not alone
