ok, i have to ask... what do you mean the screenshots will require 
work on his part... too small?  poor examples?  what?

btw, em-sizing *does* empower the user, but the user has to know 
how to adjust the settings in his/her browser...  one of the reasons 
i went with a widget on the page that loads a new .css file in that 
other article of mine:
