Simple solution around this is to disable javascript on that page and
reload. Any sort of client-side script is insecure by default. You have
to go to the server if you have any chance of security.

For such purposes I use AdSubtract Pro (http://AdSubtract.com). It lets me
perform such blocking, selectively, on a case-by-case, site-by site basis.
It lets me block cookies, referrers, background music, javascript, java
applets, pop-up windows, auto refresh, animation, background images and, of
course, advertisements.
