sarcasm aside, you don't have to be using ie6 to restrict cookies on a per
site basis.  this functionality is available in ie5/ie5.5 as well.  it's
just alittle more difficult to do.  basically you just assign the offending
site to your restricted sites list and turn off cookies for restricted
sites.

or, if you really wanna get geeky, you can do it via your host file by
making an entry for each offending domain name and pointing it at 127.0.0.1.
this means that *any* application on your machine that accesses these
domains will come up empty-handed.  can you say no more banner ads?  *evil
grin*
