Sorry to ask a doofus question, but while I have no trouble getting
mac to *nix, mac to mac, or *nix to *nix boxes talking, I've never
been able to get a win 98 box to talk with another win 98 box.
Is this because it's a 'home user' OS, or is there a really simple
(or for that matter, complex) way to setup file sharing between win
98 boxes on a lan? No, there's no MS server anywhere within cooey.
The win 98 machines are more or less dumb terminals at the moment.
FWIW, I seem to remember even I (with zero win skills) managed to get
NT and 2k communications working, but have had no luck with 98.
