[thelist] How to stop Ultradev creating _notes folders?

<almost whining alert>

I can't speak for George, but in my case with DreamWeaver (not UD), it's
more an annoyance because of the way I upload my files. The Sites function
is a great organizational tool and I use it for non-dynamic page content.
However, if I am writing dynamic CFML pages, I'm in a text editor (by
choice) and if I have some folders and sub-folders for an app or whatever,
and at ANY TIME opened the site in DW while those app folders are stored
within that Site structure, those _notes folders are created. Yes, they are
empty, but if I go to upload them to my server using something other than
DW, the _notes folders are transferred too, and it's annoying.

FWIW, when I have more than one application open on my machine and try to
use the "Put" in Dreamweaver, I can kiss my resources goodbye - no
multitasking in the background while files are transferring because it hogs
up the entire machine. That's why I stick with CuteFTP or the like.

I don't usually complain about it out loud because I am *really* glad DW is
around, but since you asked him why, I thought I would add my Whining $.02 :-)
