if you have any interest in things that come in large file sizes, it's not
very difficult at all to bump your usage into the stratosphere.  my dsl was
temporarily shut off by my isp because they'd logged 3.3 gigs of data sent
to my dsl line in a 24-hour period.  they complained about profitability.

need to perform an identical task multiple times with the input data for the
task being the only thing that is changing?  write a custom tag or find one
on the developer's exchange at allaire.com.  but wait, are you using
coldfusion 5.0 or newer?  is the task the custom tag performing primarily a
task of working with strings?  sounds like a user-defined function (udf) is
just what the doctor ordered.  you can find a ton of great ones (including
some i wrote) at cflib.org, managed in part by our very own raymond camden
(thanks ray).
