the best way I've found is to purchase a copy of VM Ware. http://www.vmware.com

it allows you to create virtual machines in your computer, such that inside the VM Ware program, you can install a whole new OS, and the VM Ware program makes the "hosted" OS think it is running it it's own computer, thereby allowing you to install as many combinations of things as you have drive space for.

for example, I have the following systems:

Win 2000 Pro, IE 5.01, Netscape 6
WIn 2000 Pro, IE 5.5, Netscape 4.74
Win 2000 Pro, IE 6.0, Netscape 4.02
Win 95, IE 5.0
Win 98, IE 5.0

this way, you only have to have one computer to run each of these. makes testing life much easier.
