[thelist] Beware - dumb question ahead - Showing off your ASP pages

Ok...please forgive me for the lame question....
ASP pages are interpreted on the server and sent to the browser as
normal HTML pages. The source doesn't show any part of the ASP code
therefore unless you know it is a db driven site and understand a little
about how the page is put together one would never know the page
contains ASP code right?
Taking into account that you commented your pages within the <% %> then
not even your comments will show........
So how can someone prove that there is actually ASP code on the page
being shown?
Very lame question I know but I kind of got puzzled by an interview I
went to....the lady was looking for ASP content in the source code....I
told her...ASP code won't show in the source....she looked at me as I
was an alien....Am I going insane here?
