more on scrolling --

"Webmasters used to assume that their users hated to scroll.
They would go out of their way to create shorter pages that did
not require any scrolling. Their users then began to complain that
there were too many clicks to get to where they want to go. It is hard
to please everyone but research has shown that users tend to be more
successful when presented with longer pages instead of many short
pages."
