I was basing my comment on the results of attempting to validate
<http://mark.g-os.ch/temp/valid.html>. If the result of the W3C
Validator is incorrect, then I stand corrected.

I'm not being facetious, but could anyone explain to me why they're
using DOCTYPE switching? I'm interested in seeing why a valid HTML page
that uses CSS for design control requires a DOCTYPE switch to make it
work.
