Also because there's a getout in the AU law about being
unreasonably onerous - if you can convince the court that it
would unreasonably damage you financially to comply, you
get away with a lot more. SOCOG brought forward IBM witnesses
to claim that to make the site accessible would cost AU$1m. Now that's
somewhat laughable, but the court was convinced.
