hi spence

1 css 2 php 3 sql/mysql

while you're doing css, you will pick up liquid design and validation
almost as a byproduct (you can't really do css well without those concepts)

php is a good way to learn modularization (e.g. includes)

modularization is one of the foundations of a cms (content management
system), and sql/mysql is the best way to implement a cms

(actually, from visiting one of your sites, i can see you already know
about includes)

don't bother with asp until after php, and not unless you are already
planning to work in a "microsoft universe"

javascript is neat, but non-trivial javascript is not easy to learn, so
save that for 4

actually, by the time you have 1, 2, and 3 under your belt, 4 may have
changed
