I went to the Macromedia link that you specified, followed the
instructions, and it worked like a charm! Thank you so much!

Is Director the only application that wont play nice with the second
monitor?
I was able to find this article from Macromedia about Director and dual
monitors:

rs.h
tm>

What OS, video cards, bus types are you using?
Have the most recent drivers from the video card manufacturer?

My friends at Evolt:

My second monitor is finally working after much hassle. Windows and
cursor nicely rest on the second monitor just as they are supposed to in
XP, in Photoshop, but NOT in Director 8.5. None of my windows, property
inspector, score...nothing will go to the other monitor. Is this a
preference? I have no clue. I thought it would just work...silly me.
