/theredstar_somewhere/ and /theredstar-somewhere/ are ok. If something's not
ever been seen indexed at a search engine, at least where it's "findable,"
the gospel truth is that it isn't ok for a site that has hopes of getting
rankings. imho you can go ahead and preach it, bro :-)
