Even better (and more standard) is to have the DNS provider turn down
the TTL (time to live) value for your domain records. Each record has a
TTL value that tell requesting DNS clients that they can safely cache
the information for x amount of time. This helps reduce network load on
DNS servers. Since your IP address will presumably be changing, you can
turn the TTL down to something low (like say 10 minutes). Then when you
update the IP address information at the DNS server, clients will be
checking for updated information on a regular basis. Once the new
information is in and stable, you can turn the TTL back up to a more
standard value.

Hope this helps,
Judah
