I'm leaning toward avoiding using the print stylesheet method as using
points in this and controlling where the page breaks looks great at the
outset but falters if you look a little closer.

What if you have the text size whacked up because you have poor vision?
By using print stylesheets you fix to many (should be) variables for my
liking.
