I just made the switch from PC to Mac and I was lucky- all my perifs were
USB.  I ended up buying Virtual PC for like $100 so I could use some of the
Windows programs that I couldn't afford to replace (like a new license for
Photoshop).  The plus side is if you have the program that created the file
(like Word on the Mac) you can open a word file that came from Windows
without any difficulty.  I'd like to see a pc open a mac disk that easily.
