So you want your content only to be live between specific dates? Not
difficult.
Set properties for the content object called launchDate and expireDate,
with values for
the first and last dates you want the content to be live.

Then conditionalise the content's appearance with
<dtml-if "ZopeTime() - launchDate >=0 and expireDate - ZopeTime()>= -1">
    <dtml-var displayContent>
</dtml-if>

By having javascript turned off, you're wasting more of your time as well
as
the time of other people that are requesting information from the server
that is slowed down by your continual requests that generate error
responses.
