[thelist] Mac sound editing (for web, etc)

QuickTime Pro, SimpleSound and iTunes do most everything you're going
to need for preparing sound for the web: cut and paste, crop, change
volume, change format, bitrate, etc.

It's sometimes cumbersome without a visual representation of the
sound ... as is working with a Quicktime window spanning two monitors
... but I usually choose QuickTime/SimpleSound over restarting with a
different extension set in order to use SoundEdit.
