Try www.dhtmlcentral.com

The author has created a freeware DHTML menu, its very easy to
customise, has many features and works cross browser

I agree, it's a nice bit of coding and easily configurable. BUT..... as
you
say it doesn't work in Opera6 and the author has no plans to make it
play
the game (my js isn't good enough but I'm sure someone out there could
make
it work). Also, I have adapted it slightly to include a <no script>
section
which delivers a table containing the top level links for non-javascript
browsers. It would be nice if the menu had a <title> facility for the
links
and if the font size could be specified in relative units and if the
menu
would respond to keyboard as well as the mouse.
