[thelist] pasting rich text into Dreamweaver?

I had a memory that I could do this.. just copy a chunk of text in Word
or similar, and paste into the Design view in Dreamweaver.

(me: win2k, office2k, DW3, 4)

But I just tried it in DW3 and DW4 and I just got plain text.
It seems there's a special Paste as HTML but that doesn't work either,
I'm getting plain unformatted text.

Any ideas if this should work, or what I might have done to break it?
